FAQ
English | How can I give to the Bursary Fund to support students and delegates that depend on assistance to attend the conference? |
| The Bursary Fund exists to enable the participation of medical and dental students and graduates who would otherwise be unable to attend the ICMDA Europe – Eurasia conference. Previous recipients include colleagues from Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union and Middle East.
The ability to support key leaders from such places depends on the giving of others. Bursary gifts received before the end of April will be of most help as that allows the recipient time to make arrangements and the bursary committee to decide how many students and (junior) doctors they can support. On average, 200 Euros support one person to attend the ICMDA Eurasia conference 2008. Gifts may be made to the bursary fund by: 1. Giving through your national Christian medical movement for forwarding to the bursary fund. Please contact your national fellowship to check whether they are receiving donations. 2. For most people and national movements of ICMDA, it is the easiest to transfer their gifts directly to our bank account in the Netherlands. Please use the following numbers and details: Account ICMDA-EURASIA IBAN NL 43 PSTB 0002 6620 99 BIC PSTBNL21 Purpose BURSARY FUND 3. UK donors can give to the ICMDA(UK)Trust. Please email icmdatrust@ukonline.co.uk for information on how to transfer money to the UK Trust. 4. Giving online through givengain via the ICMDA website: www.icmda.net Donors should be aware that they need to specify that their gift is for the Eurasia bursary fund and that there may be up to 3 months’ delay in transmission of funds and up to 10% loss on charges and exchange losses. Thank you for every little gift that it is received. We will use it for God`s glory. |
