Social program
To ensure that you will relax and enjoy fellowship at the conference, we work hard on an abundant social program . These special events mark a very warm invitation for you during your time in Schladming:
- a gala night as the start of the main conference on Wednesday, Sep 10th
- a worship concert on Thursday evening
- an Austrian evening on the Saturday
- On Friday afternoon, a guided hiking tour will take you into the heart of the alps, providing the option to enjoy fellowship amidst a beautiful scenery.
Alternatively, for those interested in Austrian culture, a guided bus tour to the city of Salzburg (about 90 km) will be organized on Friday. Salzburg is the fourth biggest Austrian city and rich of Baroque churches, chapels and sculpture.
Salzburg´s magnificent baroque town centre is rated as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site and can easily be explored by strolling along the charming alleys. The city´s most famous son Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, a classic music festival every summer and the heart-warming musical "The Sound of Music" created the area´s fame and popularity with music enthusiasts all over the world.
