The main conference venue will be the “Dachstein-Tauern-Hall” in Schladming, just over
an hour from Salzburg, Austria, in the centre
of the Austrian Alps in the Dachstein-Tauern region.
For those interested in unspoilt nature and silence only interrupted by the singing of birds, and surrounded by the beauty of the alps, Schladming has much to offer.
Additionally, a half-day excursion to the beautiful town of Salzburg will be possible during the conference.
Access
Schladming is accessible by road, rail and coach. It is situated approximately 90 km south of Salzburg, 200 km from Linz, 180 km from Graz, 260 km from Munich/Germany, 300 km from Vienna.

Staying in Schladming
The romantic mountain town of Schladming, in the centre of the Dachstein-Tauern region, is rich in history and stories. It is a small town expressing a big welcome to its guests, especially when hosting the ski world cup in winter and the mountainbike world cup in summer.
Schladming is the main part of the holiday-district "Schladming-Rohrmoos" - where everyday-life is out of your mind: from anywhere in the town you can start walking tours into untouched nature and silence just interrupted by chirping birds, roaring waters and the crackling falling leaves.
All this is surrounded by a fascinating colour play in autumn, which shows you trees in all variations of red and yellow.
